Director's Choice Project:
Students have many different types of video projects to choose from today. Silent films, parodies, documentaries, music videos, lip dubs, and comedies are a few examples. The feel of the video and emotion you create depends somewhat on the content but relies heavily on the music, acting, and dialogue. Many different types of genres exist such as horror, film noir, comedy, drama, a parody, satire, etc.
For this project, which is due Thursday, November 2o, you and your team will create a short video (2-3 minutes) on a subject of your choosing. Your team will first choose a genre for your video. Next your team will complete the script and storyboard, which must be turned in for approval. You will then have 1-2 days for filming, and 1-2 days for editing. The rubric posted below will be used to assess the quality of the final video.
